Original Music Inspired By Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol

December 18, 2014 @ 8:00 pm

- $15

The Bushwick Book Club Seattle presents: original music inspired by

Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol

December 18th | 8 pm

Performed at West Of Lenin Theatre

$15

This holiday season we invite you and your family to join The Bushwick Book Club Seattle as we perform original music inspired by Charles Dickens’ novel A Christmas Carol. Published more than 150 years ago, no other book exemplifies the true spirit of Christmas quite like this classic tale.

Each Bushwick artist will have read the book and hand crafted a unique song in honor of the greatest Christmas story ever told. They will sing their hearts out and explore with you the personal transformation of everyone’s favorite greedy Christmas hating tyrant (Humbug!). The Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future will collide on stage in a gentle explosion of holiday joy — Scrooge won’t know what hit him!

There will be music, presents, carolers, hugs, and special guests…

Performers include (Dec. 18th):
Read And Destroy
Beth Whitney
Fred Luongo
RL Heyer
Chris Poage
Jasper Lepak

Performers Include (Dec. 19th):
Read And Destroy
Mike McDermott
Mike Votava
Aaron Starkey
Natalie Mai Hall
Sean Morse
Travis and Kevin

This is going to be a fantastic event. If you have not yet read the book you are going to want to make sure you do so before hand — it is a classic for a reason!

We will see you at the show!
