The Bushwick Book Club Presents Original Music Inspired by Evan J Peterson’s The PrEP Diaries
“Not your run-of-the-mill book club,” Bushwick shows offer a special interaction between audience and performer surrounding a common source. Each musician reads the show’s featured book and writes an original song inspired by it, unveiling the new work at the event. Performers here include Moe Provencher, Amanda Winterhalter, Bridget Quigg, Eric Lane Barnes, Arson Nicki, Fiddleback, Aaron Shay, Sean Morse, Emmett Montgomery and others across genre and discipline. Hosted by Sailor Saint Claire. Seattle author, journalist, and horror critic Evan J. Peterson’s The PrEP Diaries: A Safe(r) Sex Memoir is a funny, sexy, and heartfelt narrative about growing up with the crippling fear that sex can kill you, and one day finding that no longer to be true. Expect a lively evening of sex, prescription drugs, and rock ’n’ roll, with Peterson on-hand to read from the text and join in a few performance extras!
