The Bushwick Book Club Seattle presents: original music inspired by
Molly Wizenberg’s A Homemade Life
April 23rd | 8 pm
The Royal Room
Tickets TBD | 21+
Our first cookbook event is just around the corner and we are very excited!
The show will not only have special music for the night, but will also feature menu items from the cookbook just for you (menu below).
Molly Wizenberg’s Cider-Glazed Salmon
House Salad
Molly Wizenberg’s Winning Hearts and Minds Chocolate Cake(prepared by Molly herself!!!)
**Part of the proceeds from this meal will be going back to Bushwick’s programs**
The cost of the full meal (entrée, salad, and dessert) is a bargain at $25 per person. We would like to get a count of how many Bushwick fans are interested in purchasing the full meal so we can be prepared in the Royal Room kitchen.
If you are interested in ordering this meal, please RSVP HERE
You are not required to purchase the meal, but I promise that you will want to! Seating for dinner will begin at 6:30pm.
The evening will include:
Molly Wizenberg – speaking about A Homemade Life and her new book Delancey
Food – prepared by Molly and The Royal Room staff
Wes Weddell – Quiz Master
Michael Owcharuk – Dinner/Preshow music
Emmett Montgomery – Comedian
Performers: Fredd Luongo, Nancy K Dillon, Aaron Starkey, Tekla Waterfield, Shawnmarie Stanton, Nick Foster, Sam Russell, Amanda Sue Winterhalter, Debbie Miller, Mike Votava and Sundae + Jason Goesel.
Book Larder (Seattle’s Community Cookbook store) will be on-site to sell cookbooks and the wonderful Molly Wizenberg herself will be in the room (and I bet she will be happy to discuss food, books, music, blogging, podcasts, or anything else you can think of).
This will be an amazing night of music, food, drinks and books. Please join the Bushwick crew in our first time performing songs inspired by a cookbook.
Don’t forget to RSVP if you are interested in purchasing a meal.
This event is made possible with support from The Office of Arts & Culture. Additional sponsorship provided by Book Larder, Orangette, and The Royal Room.
