It’s a special show because it will feature nine songwriters performing a song inspired by one of three authors and is supported by four local Seattle organizations. Our next event is super exciting because we are bringing together four local literary institutions, Seattle7Writers, The Bushwick Book Club Seattle, Hugo House and Town Hall Seattle to partner the event. “3 for 3: Music Inspired by Books; Books Inspired by Water” will feature Bushwick Book Club’s songwriters and musicians performing songs inspired by the books of three Seattle7Writers. Authors Daniel James Brown (The Boys in the Boat), Jennie Shortridge (Love Water Memory), and Jim Lynch (Before the Wind) are all new to me so I took to the Internet to find out more about them.
